Ecco The Dolphin is Back!

The video game world’s most well-known dolphin is back, and he’s bringing the original creator with him.

Stop what you’re doing and grab your scuba gear! After 25 years of being lost at sea, Ecco the Dolphin is officially making a splashy return. A&R Atelier and original series creator Ed Annunziata have confirmed the return of the Sega mascot and they are delivering in a massive way.

This isn’t just a simple port. We are getting remasters of the original Genesis classics, but the real catch is the announcement of a brand-new third entry. The new game promises to tackle modern environmental themes while keeping that surreal, slightly terrifying "alien-ocean" vibe that made the original a cult classic.
