Rhythm Paradise Groove Release Date: Everything We Know
Finally, the Beat Drops: Rhythm Paradise Groove Officially Slated for July 2 Release
Today, Nintendo officially confirmed that Rhythm Heaven Paradise (known as Rhythm Heaven Groove for our friends across the pond) will launch worldwide on July 2, 2026.
The 11-Year Itch is Finally Scratched
It has been a long, quiet decade since Rhythm Heaven Megamix graced the 3DS in 2015. First teased during the March 2025 Nintendo Direct, Groove is the fifth installment in the series and marks the franchise's long-awaited debut on the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
What We Know So Far
Nintendo dropped a new look at gameplay today via the Nintendo Today app, and it’s looking as wonderfully weird as ever. Here’s the breakdown:
The Price is Right: The game is listed at £33.99 for both digital and physical editions. In an era of £60 titles, this feels like a absolute steal for the amount of joy (and high-blood pressure) these games provide.
The "Slice N Dice Kitchen": The latest preview shows off a brand-new minigame where you’re tasked with chopping flying veggies and catching ingredients to a snappy beat. A judgmental cat watches from the corner—standard Rhythm Heaven energy.
Tsunku♂ Returns: Legendary producer and composer Tsunku♂ is back at the helm. If you’ve ever found yourself humming a Rhythm Heaven track in the middle of a grocery store, you have this man to thank (or blame).
Aesthetic Refresh: While earlier trailers looked a bit experimental, the latest footage shows a return to the iconic, clean, and quirky art style of Ko Takeuchi. It’s colorful, it’s vibrant, and looks fantastic!
Out of Sync Gaming Take
These quirky and weird titles from Nintendo are perfect for quick pick up and play titles. I really like that they aren’t charging and arm and leg for this game. I’m looking forward to getting weird when the game releases on July 2nd. What about you? Are you picking the game up when it releases? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
